At the Genoa Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival, there are a number of free events and attractions, a wealth of educational and performance opportunities available with the purchase of a day pass and, of course, individual ticket sales for headliner entertainment at the Carson Valley Inn (Thursday night) and in the Main Concert Tent.

Here are some event schedules and highlights

Just being in Genoa during the Festival means you can experience all of the art galleries, with paintings, sculpture, photography and exquisite crafts, the Festival Gift Store and the Mercantile tent, the Cowboy Corral during the day for beverages, entertainers and relaxing, and a number of demonstrations, open mike performances and other entertainment. Don’t forget, all of the restaurants and shops in Genoa will be open and featuring specials during the Festival.

The Day Pass provides access to a herd of workshops and performances on Friday and Saturday. Many of the performers who are appearing in the Main Concert Tent will also appear in these smaller venues during the day. The Day Pass also gets you in the Native American Center with its own set of demonstrations, crafts and dances and workshops. Day Passes can be purchased for either Friday, Saturday or Sunday but you can save with the 3 day version. There are also children’s rates available to provide even more value!  

And any Day Pass gets you into the Town Hall Dance Saturday night!

Finally, the Carson Valley Inn and Mormon Station Stockade Concert Tent will host our headliners in individually ticketed shows. Enjoy the CVI concert setting for Thursday night’s opening show and the heated and enclosed Concert Tent for Friday and Saturday’s shows.
